Rugby is deeply rooted in Cardiff’s sporting culture, with Cardiff Blues as the city’s leading team. They play their home games at the Cardiff City Stadium and compete in the United Rugby Championship (formerly the Magners League). Other rugby clubs in the area include Cardiff RFC and Glamorgan Wanderers RFC.
